Your personal information is only transmitted to us by you generally at the time of placing an order, and includes information necessary for us to fulfill your order such as name, delivery address, phone number and payment info. All information your provide to us is solely used in the process of fulfilling your order and will never be shared in any other manner unless required to do so by law.

If for any reason we need to contact you regarding the order you have placed, we will generally do so first by email. If unsuccessful, we may try to contact you by phone.

2. Website Security

All personal information provided by you to us is first encrypted before being transmitted. The encryption technology we use features a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption which would require more than a trillion years to break into with today's computer performances.

All our servers are routinely audited and are fully PCI Compliant. The Payment Card Industry Security Standard Council (PCI SSC) is formed by the major credit card companies ans sets rigid guidelines as to how customer's payment information must be handled.

CanadaBicycleParts stores no payment information from our customers. Rather, when you input your payment details, the card processor retains the information and provides us with a unique token which allows us to apply the cost of your order on your cradit card.

3. Cookies

Cookies are small bits of text stored by your browser which can only be read by the server which originally issued it. Nearly all online retailers use cookies. CanadaBicycleParts uses cookies to identify if a visitor is new to our site or is making a return visit. Cookies are also used to establish usage statistics for our site and for fraud prevention. No personal information whatsoever is collected through the use of cookied.
